UNISA Registration 2025-2026: How to Register Online at UNISA 2025
The University of South Africa (UNISA) Online Registration 2025 academic year will be available from 6 January to 31 March 2025 for all undergraduate, honours and postgraduate diplomas for the first 1 semester and year modules. New applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification should register online only if they have received an offer of placement from the University of South Africa (Unisa) and have accepted the offer online. Unisa has the right not to process or cancel your registration if it is found that you were inappropriately admitted to a qualification.
Re-registering students must register for the 2025 academic year during the appropriate registration period. The University of South Africa, UNISA provides all registered students with a free myLife e-mail address. It is therefore your duty to set-up your myLife e-mail account as soon as your registration has been completed.
Your UNISA myLife e-mail account will be the only e-mail account known by Unisa for official communication to and from the university, and will remain the official primary e-mail address on record at Unisa.

- Master’s and doctoral qualifications: 6 January to 30 April 2025
- Application and registration for Unisa Short Learning Programmes: 6 Janury to 14 March 2025

The 2025 online registration process at the University of South Africa (UNISA) is very simple, quick and accurate. When you are registering on the online system, you will be reminded make changes to every wrong details, helping you to ensure that you include all the necessary information when submitting your online registration form.
Step-by-step Guide to Register Online at UNISA 2025
- Visit Unisa online registration webpage: https://registration.unisa.ac.za
- Select the qualification level and click on the “GO” link to start the process
- When the page opens, enter your student number and other details in the block provided
- Look at your personal details on screen very well. Change any contact details that are incorrect
- From the drop-down list of items, click on the modules for which you want to register
- Make sure you do not go beyond the prescribed number of modules per semester or year
- Use the fee quotation link on Unisa website to obtain a quote for the cost of your modules
- After that, complete and submit your registration for evaluation
Please Take Note:
- In case you receive an error message during the online registration process, please, read the error message carefully and make the necessary changes to the modules.
- You can also click on the “submit to advisor” button to get more details. A student advisor will be in contact with you on how to rectify the error.
- Your online registration will only be completed once Unisa has received your study fees. All fees must be paid by the applicable closing date for registration.
- Incorrect registrations will be amended in compliance with college / qualification rules.
